Privacy & Access Notice

Pharmassist is a pharmacy support application used by AVIS Pharmacy Ltd to assist with prescription management, refill requests, and patient reminders. The system is currently operating in BETA.

What Data Is Collected

• Patient identifier (email or phone number)
• Prescription and refill information
• Optional patient notes related to refills
• System access and activity logs

Who Can Access Patient Data

• Patients: May view only their own medications and refill history.
• Pharmacists: May access patient prescription and refill records for dispensing and care purposes.
• Owner: System oversight and compliance management.
• Data Protection Officer (DPO): Read-only access to audit logs, provided only when required by law or regulation.

Access Controls

Access is role-based and protected using individual credentials. Pharmacist access is logged and auditable.

Audit Logging

All key actions (prescription updates, refill requests, status changes) are logged with timestamps and user role identifiers.

Data Retention

Patient and audit data are retained for a minimum of three (3) years in accordance with internal policy and applicable data protection requirements.

Beta Status

Pharmassist is currently in active BETA use. Features and security controls are continuously reviewed and improved.
